Our mentors role is to willingly share their rime and expertise to those paired with them.
Our mentees are expected to bring a listening year and a willingness to learn from another experience. An open mind and a teachable spirit is key.
Our sessions are designed to help you get to know yourself, know your story, know your values, know your strengths and understand how this relates to the change you want to create in your community.
Empathy is a critical skill for any leader. We help you will learn how empathy helps you to understand and develop solutions to challenges.
Once you have a deep understanding of the challenge you wish to address, we guide you to create or expand on your ideas for solution. This can be achieved by mapping out existing solutions, finding gaps and create effective ways to use your unique experience to contribute to a better community.
To implement your ideas, you will need resources including human and financial. You will learn how to recruit and manage a team. How to communicate your idea to different stakeholders etc

Persistence is the secret to success. Most people give up even before they have tried.
Resilience is the ingredient that makes a difference. Being a change maker working to make a difference is challenging and it can be very demanding. You must learn to take care of yourself and your team members, to deal with unexpected situations, and to make your project sustainable.
